Ryan Olander

Ryan is an analytical marketing leader recognized as a catalyst for growth and transformation through insightful strategy development, innovations, and collaboration across teams. Across his 20-year career, Ryan has gained best-practices from leading B2C and B2B businesses and applied those principles to smaller business and startups. Starting his career at Newell Rubbermaid, Ryan joined the brand management team for Sharpie markers before heading uni-ball pens where he catalyzed a dramatic turnaround in a mature category. After that Ryan led strategy planning for MillerCoors before managing packaging innovations across their portfolio of beer brands. Most recently Ryan was Vice President of Marketing for a B2B service division of Compass Group where he built a new department and modernized their digital marketing.

Additionally, Ryan has led businesses in sporting goods plus travelled internationally for business to Japan, China, and Europe. Besides owning his own startup business, Ryan also has consulting experience for small & mid-sized privately held and PE-backed organizations. Ryan earned his B.B.A. in Marketing from the University of Notre Dame and his M.B.A. from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management. A native of Chicago, Ryan now lives in Charlotte with his wife and three kids where he coaches youth sports and enjoys outdoor activities.
