Rahul Kapur has over 35 years of successful business experience with Aearo Technologies (now 3M), Dow Chemical and Unilever. His background is in Marketing, Product Innovation, Strategy Development and M&A. His years at Aearo included, General Manager for Prescription Safety Eyewear, led the Strategy Development Process, head of M&A and Managed the R&D/Innovation process.

He is currently Managing Director and Partner in Icon Investment Partners, where he works with Private Equity to source acquisitions, co-invests and focuses on business transformation to create value. A key part of the Icon approach is to improve business processes with a primary emphasis on business & supply chain efficiencies, margin improvement, innovation and identifying and implementing selected growth opportunities based on identified core competences. He has worked with companies such as Porex, Victor Technologies, Chromalox, Vitamin Shoppe, PrimaLoft, ERB Industries and Pace Environmental.

The Icon team has created over $3 billion in value for these companies.

At the same time Rahul is a Senior Advisor to Crossroads Transactions, an M&A Advisory Company; Chairman of Guilford Group, IT Consultants and Managing Member of Ark Capital Investment. Rahul has a bachelor’s degree in engineering from the IIT Kanpur (Summa-Cum-Laude), an MBA from the IIM Calcutta (Cum-Laude) and a Post-graduate Diploma from New York University.
