Social Media Specialist
This is a part-time entry-level marketing position with a focus on strategizing, executing, and analyzing social media content (both organic & paid) for various B2B and B2C clients. General marketing strategy, advertising, digital marketing, and client relationship skills are a plus. This is an ideal position for a self-motivated individual who also has a passion for working with a small team, learning about a wide selection of technologies, tools, and ideas, and helping clients grow their business.

You will work directly with our team in an environment with a select group of clients to create and execute marketing projects. This is a role with plenty of room for growth as individual and company performance warrants.

Available for 10-15 hours per week, with the ability to collaborate via technology (conference calls, video calls, etc) as necessary.
Bachelor’s degree in marketing-related field (e.g. journalism, business), or some ‘real life’ social media or other related marketing experience.
Strong organizational & project management skills and attention to detail. Self-starter and “roll up your sleeves” attitude:
Able to work independently within a remote, diverse team, travel occasionally on an as-needed basis
Ability to use active listening and ask questions in order to build understanding

Ability to work and adapt to growing multiple software applications:
Basic executive skills: email, scheduling, etc
G Suite, Microsoft Office, Google Analytics
Asana, Trello, Slack, SharpSpring
Experience with at least one ‘other’ aspect of marketing (web development, graphic design, email marketing, influencer marketing, copywriting, marketing management, etc)
Must be located in the greater Indianapolis area (this role is primarily remote with travel time to meetings and clients as needed)
Develop and execute social media strategy based on the &Marketing standard and unique needs of client
Measure the success of every social media campaign
Provide social media analysis and constructive feedback to client
Stay up to date with the latest social media best practices and technologies
Use social media marketing tools such as Buffer
Create basic visual graphics using a design tool such as Bannersnack/Canva
Communicate with industry professionals and influencers via social media to create a strong network
Work with copywriters and designers to ensure content is informative and appealing
Monitor user engagement and suggest content optimization
Work directly with &Marketing clients, members of the &Marketing team, and others to understand project needs, and coordinate pieces to successfully execute successful campaigns
Bring unconsidered ideas and solutions to the team on what might be missing to help grow our client’s business
Keep thorough, accurate records and organize information regarding projects.
